The atmosphere was welcoming and the quality of the cabins and food were excellent. The captain was extremely entertaining and spoke fluently in many languages. The activities were good.

This was an amazing cruise! The Azalea was perfect size, not crowded and has beautiful rooms. The service was outstanding. One night was perfect and the food was great too. Wi-Fi was spotty if you need it.

Our room on Azalea cruise was pure luxury with a large bathroom. It was awesome! We went up to lunch and oh my god - the food was sensational! Afterwards we went to do the kayaking and visit fishing village which was also good fun. Drinks on the top deck in the shade were very welcome. The dinner and the breakfast in the next morning were very delicious. The boat, staffs and foods were all 5 stars and we did enjoy this cruise very much.

The boat was immaculately clean with large windows in the cabin bedroom and bathroom. The dining room also had large clean panoramic windows. We enjoyed a sumptuous buffet lunch and apart from breakfast, each meal after that was a la carte. The staff made a point of asking the guests each morning if the menu was suitable and was clearly prepared to accommodate anyone that wasn't happy. We particularly enjoyed the kayaking and swimming. Our push bike ride on Cat Ba Island was a highlight, riding past a scenic little bay and into a farming village, lapping up the countryside along the way. I chose this cruise as it concentrated most of its time on the less popular Lan Ha bay. Apart from the scenery, what brought magic to this trip was the elegance of the boat, the charm and attentiveness of the staff.

I already miss my cabin aboard the Azalea Cruise. It was spacious and beautifully designed with a mixture of classic and modern touches. The beds were comfortable and it was awesome to have our own private balcony. I wish the dining room where had authentic Vietnamese dishes. Apart from the beautiful views of Lan Ha Bay, my mom and I felt so special by how the staff treated us with such warmth. The staff also made me feel so special with a surprise for my birthday. The cruise also offered some swimming in the bay, free kayaking and Tai Chi in the morning. Jaycee also told us the time of sunrise and I was able to wake up early and take some beautiful pictures. Jaycee also handled all the details of our stay from greeting all guests in the private lounge to arranging our van transport back to our hotel. I wish we had spent two nights or longer aboard the Azalea!
